Cast:
Jacq Babb is delighted for their Seattle theatrical debut to also be Latitude Theatre's flagship production. Jacq originally hails from Fresno, CA ("Smile when you say that!") and is presently secreted away in the fae wilds of Whidbey. Among their favorite performances are Lucius in Titus Andronicus, Pooty in Reckless, Emilia in Othello, and Mrs. Webb in Our Town. Upcoming roles include Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet and Minette in Bold Stroke for a Husband with Island Shakespeare Festival this summer, and Shelly in Two Wrongs with OutCast Productions come end of the year. Profuse and profanity-riddled gratitude to the company, cast, crew, and collaborators of Monstrous Regiment for all of the wonderful fun and tempting blood lust.

David Elwyn is an Actor, Stuntman, Fight Choreographer, Professional Wrestler, and Cat Dad. He grew up in Minnesota, attending Perpich Center for Arts Education before making Seattle his home and earning his BFA in Theater from Cornish College of the Arts. His credits include Santa Cruz Shakespeare, Artswest, Seattle Repertory, Key City Public Theatre, and the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire. Recently, He has been featured in the film Dragons on the Hill and the TV Pilot The Wayfarer. He's extremely excited to be making his first stage appearance since that whole 'global pandemic' thing started. You can find him at this summer's Oregon and Washington Renaissance Faires, as well as the Brass Screw Consortium in Port Townsend. He would like you to know that, unlike Cpl. Strappi, he in fact harbors very warm feelings towards Rock Trolls and Vampires. He couldn't be prouder of working with this team of creators!

Emily Fortuna (they/them) is honored to return to the stage after a prolonged pandemic-based hiatus. Some of their favorite Seattle area stage credits include Jenny Sunshine in Truth Like the Sun (Book-It Repertory Theatre), Thea Elvsted in Hedda Gabler (Harlequin Theatre), South in Codename: Kansas (Copious Love), and Nina Sheinberg in LAPD, Serious Murders Unit (Ghost Light). They also are an improviser, act in films, and have an abnormal fascination with plants. They dedicate these performances to those finding the courage to live in the power of their own being. Rowan Gallagher is a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts where he majored in Original Works with a focus on Directing. He works in many facets of the Seattle theatre community including work as a dramaturg, director, dialect coach, and fight director as well as of course acting. His recent projects include dialect coaching for The Wickhams at Taproot Theatre, assistant directing for Born Yesterday at Theatre 9/12, and he will serve as the Dramaturg for Hello Girls at Taproot this summer. Monstrous Regiment is Rowan’s first time back on stage as an actor since his graduation from Cornish in 2021, and he could not be happier to be a part of this beautiful and inspiring production and process with Latitude Theatre.

Ali Kidder-Mostrom (she/her) is a chemist by day, stitcher by night. She realized her stitcher nature during this production – whether for her make-up, the costumes on our backs or her favorite podcasting app. Monstrous Regiment is only her second production since moving to Seattle in 2019 (stupid pandemic!); the first being in As-If’s 2022 Kenmore Quickies. Prior to Seattle, Ali lived and acted in the Midwest. Favorite roles have included Sheila in Hair, Meg in Little Women, marja' and 'emlI' in A Klingon Christmas Carol and a wide variety of interactive theatre characters.

Annabel Klein (she/they) is thrilled to join this stellar cast and crew for her first onstage performance since the COVID-19 shutdown. Annabel graduated from the University of Redlands with a BA in English Literature and Theatre Arts in 2020. Since then she has been working as a full-time theatre educator, serving with Seattle Shakespeare Company, Seattle Rep, Penguin Productions, and Stone Soup Theatre. You may have most recently seen Annabel onscreen as June in Ocean’s Arrival, streaming on Amazon Prime. Leah Sainz-Jones (they/them) is a Two-Spirit Trans-Nonbinary Mescalero Apache Latinx Chinese performing artist. They hold a BFA in Musical Theatre from Cornish College of the Arts. You may have most recently seen them as Topaz in Village Theatre’s production of MISS STEP! Other recent credits include: directing Girls School Memory Play (Dacha), acting in Emerald City (Seattle Rep), and ALMA (ArtsWest). Outside of theatre, you will find them performing Burlesque and Draglesque around town! They’re drawn to creating work that is honest, bold, inclusive, and GAY. They send their love to their loved ones and kin, to their Pua and two kitties, and to their Mom who is watching from the sea and sky.

Steven Sterne (he/him) is an actor, director, photographer, and teaching artist. Favorite roles include The Bosses in King Kirby (Ghost Light Theatricals), Doyle in The Nether (Washington Ensemble Theater), The Men in My Name is Asher Lev (Seattle Jewish Theater/Penguin Productions) and this role. He has also acted in and directed with 14/48:The World’s Quickest Theater Festival and has been a mentor for 14/48: High School. He has performed in 4 Theater Anonymous productions. Steven directed a show for Strawshop’s Strawberry Jam festival last summer, and will do so again this summer. Steven is a former Board member at Seattle Public Theater and a former Board Chairperson at The 14/48 Projects. He tries to see 50 or more plays and 5 or more hockey games a year. Steven lives in North Seattle with his longtime spouse Jennifer and their two kittens, Miss Manners and Emily Post.

Jonathan Swindle is a Seattle-based actor from Cleveland, TN. Recent local credits include Pageantry with Taproot Theatre Company, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot and Tribes with Tacoma Arts Live, and Pericles, Prince of Tyre with Greenstage. He is a recent graduate from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Master of Fine Arts in Performance. Enjoy the show!

Kirsten Traylor-Thorson is an award-winning comedian and a transplant from Minnesota. Self-described as 'classically trained with no class' she's worked as a stand-up comedian, burlesque performer, costume designer, writer, director, and actor. She has performed with Vilification Tennis, Wise Fools Improv, and Last Action Movie and her recent credits include Dragons on the Hill, Caucasian Aggressive Pandas, and Centipede! The Musical. Currently she works as a tour guide telling ghost stories in Pike Place Market. If you want more of her, this summer she'll also be performing at the Oregon Renaissance Faire, Brass Screw Consortium, and Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire.

Skye Farrell (he/they) is an actor musician from Seattle. He recently graduated from the Institute of the Arts Barcelona with his BA(hons) in acting, and is excited to be performing in Seattle again! Some of their recent credits include being an Understudy/Swing for Taproot Theatre's road company, Liseo (La Dama Boba), and Vernon (Vernon God Little) at Institute of the Arts Barcelona. Next month you can see them performing in Briar/Rose for theatre off Jackson's pride week.

Alex Hogue (he/him) is thrilled to be back, after a decade away from the stage, and playing multiple roles as an understudy in Monstrous Regiment. For Alex, the highlight of his return to acting has been the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented cast that has helped him grow creatively. Production Staff:
Christopher Kidder-Mostrom (he/him) marks his 60th production in the director’s chair with Latitude Theatre’s debut production of Monstrous Regiment. Chris holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Morningside University and an MFA in Playwriting from the University of New Orleans, during which he spent his summers in Madrid, Spain, and began his career as a literary translator of dramatic works. He moved to Seattle in 2019 from Chicago where he was the Artistic Director of Commedia Beauregard, a company dedicated to works in translation. A theatrical jack-of-all-trades, Christopher’s work is not limited to directing and playwriting. He is also an accomplished actor, fight choreographer, sound designer, set designer, puppeteer, and drama critic. His work has been seen in New York, Los Angeles, Minneapolis/Saint Paul, Chicago, Massachusetts, Cincinnati, New Orleans, Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa, the District of Columbia, and Kaiserslautern, Germany. Locally, Chris was recently the fight choreographer for Taproot Theatre’s The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberly and A Woman of No Importance, as well as Kamiak High School’s Shakespeare in Love. He has also directed locally at Edmonds Driftwood Players.

Stacey Bush (she/her) has created violence for Seattle Shakespeare’s: Drum and Colors: Hamlet & As You Like It and 2023 educational tour of Romeo & Juliet; Sound Theatre Company’s: Cloud Tectonics; Pork Filled Productions’: She Devil of the China Seas; WET: Tin Cat Shoes; ACT Theater: Yen; Greenstage: Taming of the Shrew and their Backyard Bard: Twelfth Night; Seattle Repertory Theatre: Ibsen in Chicago; Theater Schmeater: She Kills Monsters; Reboot Theatre: Private Lives; MAP Theatre: Year of the Rooster and Annex Theatre: My Dear Miss Chancellor. She is the Managing Director of Performers’ Forge, a local performance company focusing on the exhibition and education of theatrical interpretations of historical and modern violence. She is thrilled to work with Latitude, Chris and Ali and the exceptional cast and crew.

Amber Granger is a Sound Designer based in Seattle, Washington. She is thrilled to be joining Latitude Theatre on their inaugural producton and to help tell this peculiar tale! Amber holds an AAAS in Digital Audio Engineering from Shoreline Community College and a BFA in Performance Producton from Cornish College of the Arts. Jennifer Nielsen is excited to be the property master for Latitude Theatre’s first production. Over the last 40+ years, live theater has given her the opportunity to express her creativity through set design, directing, acting, and costuming as well as props. Most recently she was seen onstage with As If Theater Company in their production of Suite Surrender as Mrs. Osgood. She would like to acknowledge her college professors who insisted that every student learn every aspect of theatrical production which has given her a great appreciation for work both on stage and backstage. As always, she is grateful for the support of her family: Meghann, Hillary, Cece and Scott. Life is good!

Charlie Sandford is a NW Washington based composer, songwriter, producer, and performing artist. With a talent for storytelling, Charlie loves writing music for stage and screen that captures the audience’s ear and transports them into a world of imagination.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Music Composition and Songwriting from McNally Smith College of Music, Charlie released multiple original pieces of music across digital streaming platforms, including his 2020 Parachute EP and his 2022 Double Feature. Charlie composed original music for A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Woodinville Rep and Bleeding Art for Eclectic Theatre’s Playfest, as well as scoring independent film trailers. Sam Williamson (she/her) is very excited to be a part of the inaugural production of Latitude Theatre. By day Sam can be found teaching Kindergarten at Bertschi School, but by night can be found stage managing in the Seattle area. She received a BFA in Theatre Production and a MAT in Teaching. Sam’s previous credits include The Bishop’s Wife, Pageantry, Black Coffee, As It Is In Heaven (Taproot Theatre). Thank you for coming to our show!
