Latitude Theatre is holding auditions for Victorian Christmas Cards, a short play festival featuring six new short works by local Seattle playwrights. Each piece in the festival is based on the artwork of a quirky Holiday card from yesteryear.
Important Dates
Auditions are Sunday October 22, 2023 (1-6pm), in-person at TPS Theatre4.
Rehearsals begin October 30. Each play will have approximately five rehearsals in November, scheduled to accommodate each director and set of actors. Actors must be available for tech rehearsals the evenings of December 4-6. Tech rehearsals and performances will be at TPS Theatre4.
The show runs December 7 – 9 and 13-17, 2023.
Pay
All actors will receive a stipend of $100

Latitude Theatre values diversity and inclusion in casting. Actors of all races, ethnicities, genders, body types and abilities are encouraged to audition.
BIPOC and other actors who identify as part of groups which have been historically underrepresented on stage are especially invited.
The plays are all new works which are currently being written, so specific character descriptions are not yet available. Each actor may be cast in two plays, as well as intermezzi movement scenes.
COVID Information
We ask that all those who work on this project be vaccinated against COVID-19 and are willing to provide proof of vaccination if cast.

Latitude Theatre attends the TPS Unified General Auditions each year, and often uses information from those auditions to contact actors who were are interested in seeing at our own show-specific auditions. We are a proud member of Theatre Puget Sound, and encourage actors to participate in the UGAs.
